Having recently visited Burghotel for a family vacation, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that greeted us from the moment we arrived. The historic charm of the hotel added a unique touch to our stay, making us feel like we were stepping back in time.One particularly noteworthy aspect was the accommodating nature towards families with young children. Our little one, just a year old, was provided with a comfortable cot in our room, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep for all. The hotel's policy of welcoming children under six years old made our stay stress-free and enjoyable.The central location of the hotel allowed us to explore Monschau with ease, and the abundance of activities nearby kept both the adults and the little one entertained throughout our stay. The generous German breakfast spread each morning was a definite highlight, offering a variety of freshly baked goods and delicious options to suit every palate. From the friendly staff to the cozy atmosphere, we felt right at home and would highly recommend this hotel to other families looking for a welcoming and inclusive retreat.
